Services to the Natural Gas Industry

The Moshannon Valley Economic Development Partnership is a strong supporter of environmentally conscientious natural gas development in Pennsylvania. Since 2008, ten Marcellus Shale-related businesses have been established within the Moshannon Valley including five that located here from other areas of the country. One of the businesses that established a new operation within the Valley was Calfrac of Calgary, Canada.

MVEDP staff will continue to promote the region to natural gas industries. The MVEDP maintains an inventory of sites and building space and can make that available to companies involved in natural gas extraction. Two buildings of significance include the Moshannon Valley Enterprise Center and the Moshannon Valley Regional Business Center, both multi-tenant buildings owned by the MVEDP.

The MVEDP has sites, building space and financing to assist natural gas companies. The MVEDP is also networked with local businesses, property owners, and the public sector. The MVEDP will go the extra mile to assist any company that is interested in locating to the Moshannon Valley region.
